Unit Mission
The Dark Web Monitoring & Threat Actor Tracking Team conducts systematic monitoring of dark web forums, marketplaces, and communication channels to detect threats, data leaks, and adversary activity relevant to Pacific 7.0 International and its clients. The team tracks threat actors across dark web platforms, monitors for the sale or exposure of sensitive data, and provides early warning of planned attacks or data breaches — enabling proactive response before threats materialise.
Key Functions
Dark Web Monitoring
Conducting systematic monitoring of dark web forums, marketplaces, and communication channels — using specialist tools and tradecraft to access and monitor platforms where threat actors plan attacks, trade stolen data, and sell malicious tools.
Data Leak Detection
Monitoring dark web platforms for the sale or exposure of sensitive data — including credentials, personal information, intellectual property, and operational data — and providing early warning that enables rapid response to limit the impact of data breaches.
Threat Actor Tracking
Tracking specific threat actors across dark web platforms — monitoring their communications, activities, and associations to build intelligence on their capabilities, intentions, and targeting, and to provide early warning of planned attacks.
