Innovation — How We Operate — Pacific 7.0 International

Operational Pillar III

Innovation

Pacific 7.0 International develops and deploys advanced terrestrial science, technology, and policy solutions through DARAS and cross-directorate applied research programmes.

The problems we face — pandemic, climate collapse, organised crime, state fragility — are not solvable with yesterday's tools. DARAS exists to build tomorrow's tools today, and to put them in the hands of people who will use them in the field next week.

Science & Technology

Innovation Domains

Six domains where Pacific 7.0 International advances the state of the art for humanitarian and security applications.

Applied Science & Research

DARAS operates six scientific divisions — Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Earth Sciences, Physics & Mathematics, and Humanities & Social Sciences — producing peer-reviewed research, field-deployable technologies, and evidence-based policy frameworks that directly support operational directorates.

Autonomous Systems & Robotics

Our Engineering division designs UAV swarms, underwater robotics, and terrestrial autonomous platforms for search-and-rescue, environmental monitoring, and logistics in environments too dangerous for human entry. These systems are tested, certified, and deployed in real operations.

Quantum & Cyber Technologies

The Physics & Mathematics division advances quantum sensing, unbreakable cryptography, and exascale computing. These capabilities underpin secure communications for field teams, predictive threat modelling, and the data-fusion infrastructure that gives commanders a real-time operational picture.

Climate & Environmental Science

Earth Sciences and Chemistry divisions provide the scientific foundation for climate response — from seismic early-warning systems and glacier monitoring to carbon sequestration R&D and environmental remediation chemistry. Every environmental operation is science-led.

Policy & Social Innovation

The Humanities & Social Sciences division translates hard science into actionable governance. Disaster sociology, geopolitical forecasting, misinformation analytics, and supply-chain economics ensure that technological solutions are grounded in human and institutional realities.

Technology Transfer & Doctrine

Innovations developed within DARAS are systematically transferred to operational directorates through the Training Standards & AR/VR Simulation Certification Unit. New technologies become doctrine before they become deployments.

Directorate II
