Cyber Threat Intelligence & Adversary Profiling Unit
Producing actionable cyber threat intelligence and detailed adversary profiles that drive proactive cyber defence.
Unit Mission
The Cyber Threat Intelligence & Adversary Profiling Unit collects, analyses, and disseminates cyber threat intelligence to provide organisations with a current, accurate picture of the cyber threats they face. The unit develops detailed profiles of threat actors — including nation-state groups, criminal organisations, and hacktivists — covering their capabilities, tactics, techniques, procedures, and targeting preferences, and translates this intelligence into actionable guidance that enables organisations to prioritise defences and anticipate attacks.
Key Functions
Intelligence Collection
Collecting cyber threat intelligence from open-source, commercial, partner, and technical sources — aggregating and correlating data to build a comprehensive, current picture of the cyber threat landscape.
Adversary Profiling
Developing and maintaining detailed profiles of cyber threat actors — documenting their capabilities, motivations, targeting preferences, and TTPs to enable defenders to anticipate and prepare for their specific attack methodologies.
Intelligence Dissemination
Translating cyber threat intelligence into actionable products — including strategic assessments, tactical advisories, and IoC feeds — that enable security teams to prioritise defences and respond effectively to emerging threats.
