Disability Services & Accessibility Tech Unit

Advancing disability inclusion and accessibility through services and technology that remove barriers to participation.

Unit Mission

The Disability Services & Accessibility Tech Unit advances disability inclusion and accessibility — developing the services, assistive technologies, and advocacy programs needed to remove barriers to participation for people with disabilities and build the inclusive communities where everyone can contribute fully. The unit applies disability rights, assistive technology, and universal design to develop the comprehensive approaches needed to address the physical, social, and attitudinal barriers that prevent full inclusion of people with disabilities.
