Unit Mission
The Police Brutality Investigation & Digital Evidence Unit investigates police brutality through digital evidence analysis and open-source intelligence — collecting and analyzing video footage, social media content, and digital communications to document police violence and build the evidentiary record needed for accountability. The unit applies digital forensics, OSINT methodology, and human rights documentation to investigate incidents of police brutality, identify perpetrators, and support the legal proceedings and advocacy needed to end impunity for police violence.
