Unit Mission
The Forensic Pathology & Extrajudicial Execution Intervention Analytics unit applies forensic pathology to investigate extrajudicial executions and document state-sponsored killing — providing the medical and scientific evidence needed to establish cause and manner of death, identify perpetrators, and support accountability for unlawful killings by state and non-state actors. The unit applies forensic medicine, death investigation, and human rights documentation to conduct independent autopsies, analyze ballistic and physical evidence, and produce the authoritative forensic reports that underpin accountability mechanisms.

Conducting independent forensic investigation of suspicious deaths — performing autopsies, analyzing physical and ballistic evidence, and establishing cause and manner of death in cases of suspected extrajudicial execution.
Forensic Documentation
Documenting extrajudicial executions through forensic evidence — producing authoritative forensic reports that establish the facts of unlawful killings and provide the medical evidence needed for criminal accountability.
Expert Testimony
Providing expert witness testimony in accountability proceedings — presenting forensic findings before international tribunals, national courts, and human rights bodies to support prosecution of extrajudicial killings.
