Defending digital rights and protecting individuals from state surveillance and cyber-censorship.

Unit Mission

The Digital Rights, Anti-Surveillance & Cyber-Censorship Defense Unit defends digital rights and protects individuals from state surveillance and cyber-censorship — documenting surveillance practices, providing technical protection to at-risk individuals, and advocating for the legal frameworks needed to protect privacy and free expression in the digital environment.
