Combating online child exploitation through digital investigation, platform accountability, and survivor support.
Unit Mission
The Crimes Against Children & Exploitation Digital Response Unit combats online child exploitation — investigating child sexual abuse material, online grooming, and digital exploitation through advanced digital forensics, platform accountability advocacy, and survivor support. The unit applies digital forensics, child protection law, and online safety to identify perpetrators, support law enforcement investigations, advocate for platform accountability, and provide the survivor-centered support needed by children who have experienced digital exploitation.

Platform Accountability
Advocating for platform accountability for child exploitation — engaging technology companies, regulators, and legislators to strengthen detection, reporting, and removal of child sexual abuse material and exploitation content.
Survivor Support
Coordinating survivor support for child exploitation victims — connecting child victims with specialized trauma-informed support services, legal assistance, and the long-term care needed for recovery from exploitation.
