Unit Mission
The Corporate Human Rights Abuse & Supply Chain Accountability Team holds corporations accountable for human rights abuses in their operations and supply chains — investigating corporate complicity in rights violations, supporting affected communities in seeking redress, and advocating for mandatory human rights due diligence legislation. The team applies the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, corporate accountability law, and supply chain investigation to document abuses, support litigation, and advance the regulatory frameworks needed to ensure corporate respect for human rights.

Abuse Investigation
Investigating corporate human rights abuses — documenting rights violations in corporate operations and supply chains, identifying responsible companies, and building the evidence needed for accountability and redress.
Community Support
Supporting communities affected by corporate abuses — providing legal assistance, facilitating access to remedy mechanisms, and advocating for the compensation and remediation that affected communities are owed.
Due Diligence Advocacy
Advocating for mandatory human rights due diligence — engaging legislators, regulators, and international organizations to advance binding requirements for corporate human rights due diligence and accountability.
