Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Rapid Field-Distribution Team
Managing strategic medical stockpiles and executing rapid field distribution to protect populations during public health emergencies.
Unit Mission
The Strategic National Stockpile Rapid Field-Distribution Team manages strategic reserves of medical countermeasures — pharmaceuticals, vaccines, personal protective equipment, and medical supplies — and executes rapid field distribution operations that deliver these resources to affected populations during public health emergencies. The team applies emergency logistics, supply chain management, and public health emergency operations to maintain stockpile readiness, plan distribution operations, and execute rapid deployment when emergencies strike.
