The unit applies supply chain management, cold-chain technology, and logistics operations to maintain vaccine potency, optimize distribution, and ensure that life-saving countermeasures reach the populations that need them most.

Maintaining cold-chain integrity from manufacturer to patient — monitoring temperature throughout the supply chain, identifying cold-chain failures, and implementing corrective actions that prevent vaccine spoilage and potency loss.
