Unit Mission
The Transboundary Resource Governance & Hydro-Politics Unit advances transboundary resource governance and manages hydro-political tensions — developing the governance frameworks, diplomatic strategies, and cooperative arrangements needed to manage shared water resources, transboundary ecosystems, and cross-border resource conflicts. The unit applies water law, resource governance, and conflict prevention to develop the international agreements and cooperative institutions needed to manage shared resources peacefully and sustainably.

Resource Agreements
Developing transboundary resource agreements — negotiating and designing the international frameworks needed to govern shared natural resources, ensuring equitable access and sustainable management.
