Unit Mission

The Open-Source Intelligence Analytics Team harvests and analyzes open-source intelligence — systematically collecting, processing, and analyzing publicly available information from social media, news media, academic publications, and other open sources to develop actionable intelligence insights. The team applies OSINT methodology, data analytics, and natural language processing to extract intelligence value from the vast volume of publicly available information and develop the assessments needed for informed decision-making.
