Unit Mission
The Open-Source Intelligence Analytics Team harvests and analyzes open-source intelligence — systematically collecting, processing, and analyzing publicly available information from social media, news media, academic publications, and other open sources to develop actionable intelligence insights. The team applies OSINT methodology, data analytics, and natural language processing to extract intelligence value from the vast volume of publicly available information and develop the assessments needed for informed decision-making.

Collecting open-source intelligence — systematically harvesting publicly available information from social media, news media, and other open sources using automated collection tools and manual research.
Data Analytics
Analyzing OSINT data — applying data analytics, natural language processing, and pattern recognition to extract intelligence value from large volumes of open-source information.
Intelligence Production
Producing OSINT intelligence products — developing structured assessments from open-source analysis that provide decision-makers with actionable intelligence on threats, trends, and adversary activities.
