Mission Statement
The Youth Conflict Demobilization & Trauma Extraction Team specializes in the demobilization and rehabilitation of young people recruited into criminal organizations, armed groups, and conflict roles. The unit combines trauma-informed extraction with comprehensive rehabilitation programs — education, vocational training, psychological support, and community reintegration — to break the cycle of youth exploitation by criminal networks.

Coordinating the safe extraction of youth from criminal organizations and armed groups, using trauma-informed approaches that prioritize psychological safety alongside physical extraction.
Trauma Rehabilitation
Providing comprehensive psychological support to demobilized youth, addressing trauma from exploitation, violence, and coercion through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Reintegration Programs
Designing and implementing education, vocational training, and community reintegration programs that provide demobilized youth with viable alternatives to criminal and conflict roles.
