Mission Statement
The Mass Care, Emergency Sheltering & Feeding Logistics Unit establishes and operates large-scale emergency sheltering and feeding operations for populations displaced by disaster. The unit manages the full logistics chain from supply procurement and transportation to shelter setup and meal service, ensuring that displaced populations receive adequate food, water, shelter, and basic services in the critical days and weeks following a major disaster event.

Establishing and managing large-scale emergency shelters — site selection, facility setup, population management, and basic services — for thousands of displaced persons following major disaster events.
Mass Feeding Logistics
Operating mass feeding operations that provide nutritionally adequate meals to large displaced populations, managing the supply chain from procurement through preparation and distribution.
Vulnerable Population Support
Identifying and providing enhanced support to vulnerable shelter populations — elderly, disabled, medically dependent, unaccompanied children — ensuring their specific needs are met within the mass care environment.
