Heavy Ordnance Recovery & Disarmament Task Force
Recovering and neutralizing heavy weapons that threaten civilian populations and regional stability.
Mission Statement
The Heavy Ordnance Recovery & Disarmament Task Force specializes in the recovery, safe handling, and destruction of heavy weapons — including artillery, anti-tank systems, man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), and unexploded ordnance — that have proliferated into civilian environments and criminal hands. The unit coordinates post-conflict disarmament programs and supports international weapons destruction initiatives.
