Mission Statement
The Austere Environment Heavy Airlift & Drop Task Force provides heavy airlift capability for crisis operations in environments where conventional ground and sea logistics are impossible — remote mountain regions, flooded plains, conflict zones with destroyed infrastructure, and areas cut off by natural disaster. The unit operates heavy-lift helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to deliver bulk supplies, heavy equipment, and large personnel groups to austere operating environments.
