Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Frontier Science Policy Unit
Developing governance frameworks for artificial intelligence and frontier technologies to ensure responsible innovation.
Unit Mission
The Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Frontier Science Policy Unit develops governance frameworks for artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and other frontier technologies — ensuring that transformative innovations are developed and deployed responsibly, with appropriate safeguards against misuse, bias, and unintended consequences. The unit applies technology policy, AI ethics, and science governance to develop the regulatory frameworks, international standards, and institutional oversight mechanisms needed for responsible frontier technology governance.
Key Functions
AI Governance
