Unit Mission
The Global Crisis Response & Agile Logistics Task Force deploys and sustains agile logistics systems for global crisis response — managing the supply chains, transportation networks, and field logistics that keep response operations running in the most challenging environments. The task force applies humanitarian logistics, supply chain management, and field operations to pre-position supplies, coordinate airlift and sealift, manage field warehousing, and sustain the operational tempo needed for effective disaster response across diverse geographic and security contexts.
Key Functions
Supply Chain Management
Managing humanitarian supply chains for crisis response — coordinating procurement, pre-positioning, transportation, and distribution of relief supplies to ensure that response operations are sustained with the right resources at the right time.
Airlift Coordination
Coordinating airlift and sealift for disaster response — managing aircraft and vessel movements, coordinating with military and commercial carriers, and optimizing the transportation networks that move people and supplies to crisis areas.
Last-Mile Delivery
Executing last-mile delivery in challenging environments — deploying field logistics teams, managing distribution points, and solving the transportation and access challenges that prevent relief supplies from reaching affected communities.
