Unit Mission
The Fatality Management & Dignified Handling Logistics Team manages mass fatality operations — coordinating the recovery, handling, storage, and identification of disaster victims with the dignity, professionalism, and forensic rigor needed to serve both the deceased and their families. The team applies mass fatality management, forensic science, and family assistance to establish temporary morgue operations, coordinate victim recovery, manage remains storage, and support the identification processes that return victims to their families.
