Community Stabilization & Peace Support Operations Team
Stabilizing disaster-affected communities through peace support operations that prevent conflict and restore social cohesion.
Unit Mission
The Community Stabilization & Peace Support Operations Team stabilizes disaster-affected communities — deploying peace support operations that prevent conflict, reduce tensions, and restore social cohesion in the volatile aftermath of major disasters. The team applies conflict prevention, community stabilization, and peace support to address the social fractures that disasters can create or exacerbate, preventing the descent into violence and supporting the community-level reconciliation needed for sustainable recovery.
