Research Mission
The Genomics, Transcriptomics & Proteomics Facility generates high-throughput multi-omics data — genomic sequences, transcriptome profiles, and proteome maps — that reveal the molecular basis of biological processes, disease states, and organism responses to environmental challenges. The facility provides the data infrastructure that supports mechanistic research, biomarker discovery, and systems biology modeling across DARAS's biological research programs.
Key Research Functions
Multi-Omics Generation
Generating high-quality genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets using state-of-the-art sequencing and mass spectrometry platforms — providing the molecular data that underpins DARAS biological research.
Bioinformatics Analysis
Applying advanced bioinformatics pipelines to analyze and interpret multi-omics data — identifying differentially expressed genes, protein interactions, and molecular signatures associated with biological states of interest.
Data Integration
Integrating multi-omics datasets to build comprehensive molecular portraits of biological systems — enabling systems-level understanding that transcends the limitations of single-omics approaches.
