Research Mission

The Epidemiological Forecasting & Mathematical Biological Modeling Unit develops mathematical models of infectious disease transmission, epidemic dynamics, and public health intervention effectiveness — providing the quantitative forecasting tools needed for outbreak response, pandemic preparedness, and health security planning. The unit applies differential equation modeling, agent-based simulation, statistical inference, and machine learning to characterize disease spread and evaluate the impact of interventions across diverse epidemiological contexts.
