Unit Mission

The Inter-Departmental Algorithmic Cryptography & Secure Communications Unit secures all inter-directorate communications with advanced cryptography — developing and managing the cryptographic systems, key management infrastructure, and secure communications protocols that protect operational security across the entire Pacific 7.0 International network. The unit applies advanced cryptography, quantum-resistant algorithms, and communications security to ensure that sensitive operational communications remain protected from adversary interception and exploitation.

Cryptographic Systems

Developing cryptographic systems — designing and implementing the encryption algorithms, key management systems, and cryptographic protocols that protect inter-directorate communications from adversary interception.

Key Management

Managing cryptographic keys — operating the key management infrastructure that generates, distributes, and rotates the cryptographic keys used to secure communications across all nine directorates.

Quantum Resistance

Implementing quantum-resistant cryptography — developing and deploying post-quantum cryptographic algorithms that will protect communications security even as quantum computing capabilities advance.
