Unit Mission
The Field Operator Sustenance, Rotation & Extrication Logistics Unit sustains field operators with food, water, and medical support while managing personnel rotations and emergency extrication — coordinating the supply of food, water, and personal protective equipment to field teams, managing the rotation of personnel to prevent fatigue and maintain operational effectiveness, and planning and executing the emergency extrication of personnel from hostile or hazardous environments. The unit ensures that field operators across all nine directorates can sustain their operational tempo safely and effectively.
Key Functions
Sustenance Logistics
Managing field sustenance — coordinating the supply of food, water, and personal protective equipment to field teams across all operational theaters, ensuring that operators have the physical resources needed to sustain their performance.
Rotation Management
Managing personnel rotations — planning and executing the rotation of field personnel to prevent fatigue, maintain operational effectiveness, and ensure that fresh teams are available to sustain long-duration operations.
Emergency Extrication
Planning emergency extrication — developing and maintaining extrication plans for all operational theaters, ensuring that personnel can be rapidly extracted from hostile or hazardous environments when safety is threatened.
