Autonomous Drone & UAV Intelligence Centralization Unit
Centralizing autonomous drone and UAV intelligence collection to provide all directorates with persistent aerial surveillance and reconnaissance.
Unit Mission
The Autonomous Drone & UAV Intelligence Centralization Unit centralizes autonomous drone and UAV intelligence collection — managing the fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles deployed across operational theaters, centralizing the intelligence collected by drone platforms, and distributing aerial surveillance and reconnaissance products to all nine directorates. The unit applies drone operations, autonomous systems management, and aerial intelligence to provide persistent overhead coverage of operational areas and deliver the aerial intelligence products that field teams across all directorates need.
Key Functions
UAV Operations
Operating the UAV fleet — managing the deployment, tasking, and recovery of autonomous drones and unmanned aerial vehicles across operational theaters to provide persistent aerial surveillance and reconnaissance.
Intelligence Centralization
Centralizing drone intelligence — aggregating the imagery, signals, and sensor data collected by UAV platforms into a centralized intelligence repository accessible to all nine directorates.
Product Distribution
Distributing aerial intelligence products — developing and disseminating aerial surveillance and reconnaissance products to field teams and commanders across all directorates in formats optimized for operational use.
Operational Capabilities
Cross-Directorate Interoperability
